Mexico Boys' Ranch Faces Third Year of Rebuilding
The Liberty County report notes the Mexico Boys' Ranch near Lordsburg enters its third year under new leadership with Walker C Hub appointed as superintendent. More than 100 Masons and ladies attended as Lordsburg Lodge No. 30 AF&AM marked its 50th anniversary. E. N. Jackson presided, Peter M. Chase led the program, and J. R. Badgett gave the invocation.

The Central School carnival organized by P-TA and teachers drew strong crowds with plentiful food exciting games and busy booths. Ray Jones Found Dead In Pickup Truck
Ray Alvey Jones, 65, of 319 N 17th St Phoenix, was found dead Tuesday morning about 4 am in his pickup near Hidalgo Restaurant. A coroner's jury cited natural causes. he was asthmatic and in search of a place to live normally. He had come from Oregon to Phoenix en route to Texas. A syringe needle was in the truck. Heather Funeral Home shipped the body to Dallas for burial.
