Phil Liberty to Address Lordsburg High Graduates
Phil Liberty of Silver City will speak at Lordsburg High School’s graduation on Friday May 21. A Silver City Daily Press reporter and former Western New Mexico University sports information director, he has been WNMU radio play-by-play announcer for Mustang football and basketball seasons. Liberty, Florida State University graduate in business, has hospitality and sales experience and is a small business owner. He and wife Cindy have lived in Grant County since 1989.

Postal Food Drive A Success In Lordsburg
The Lordsburg postal letter carriers drive collected over 1000 pounds of canned and non perishable foods Saturday. Donations were split between the Community Action Agency and the Lordsburg Christian Home. Postmaster Bob Sartar thanked residents for the generous response and noted a collection box will remain in the Post Office lobby for ongoing donations to the Community Action Agency.
