Juveniles Placed On Probation for Burglary
Two 17 year old juveniles charged with unlawfully entering Richard W. Allen’s residence on Eighth St on April 9 appeared in juvenile court before Judge Norman Hodges. The court found they committed the burglary and placed them on probation with restitution. most items were recovered. Entry was via a sliding glass door while the family was away. Eight other juveniles cited for curfew violations were released to parents after warning.

Four Die In Sunday Two-Vehicle Crashes East Of Downtown
A Lordsburg couple died along with two others in two head on crashes about six miles east of downtown on Sunday afternoon. Edward Von Jones 19 and Bethel Colleen Hobbs his wife died from injuries. Deborah Lee Johnson 11 and Clarence Will Johnson 35 of Los Angeles died at the hospital. A third fatality followed when a second wreck struck the first collision scene as a New York couple Randolph G Weiss 20 and wife escaped injury.

Denver bass baritone Russell T. Hillock will be soloist with the Lordsburg High School Band in a May 12 concert at Maverick Gymnasium.
