BLM Seeks Bids for 13 000 Acres of Geothermal Leases
In Santa Fe the Bureau of Land Management will open bids on May 19 for geothermal leases covering more than 13 000 acres in Hidalgo County. Six units south of Lordsburg range from 1840 to 2560 acres. Each lease requires a 10000 dollar compliance bond and a 10000 dollar indemnity bond to cover damages and reclamation.
