Flaws in the ride-along with police officers were discussed, with plans to meet the police liaison before the next session. Geothermal lease bonus leads Hidalgo County sale
The State Land Office reported the top bonus bid of 4,586 for geothermal leases in Hidalgo County. Gulf Oil Corp of Denver paid the amount for the winning bid on one tract. A total of 23 tracts were leased in Hidalgo County.
