The Lordsburg municipal gas system has been formally accepted by local and PWA officials. W. G. Dietrich, gas superintendent, expects about 260 customers by midsummer and notes gas costs are competitive with other Southwest communities. Seven report groups noted sixty five families received aid in February and that tuberculosis treatment and school health efforts are active with glasses fitted to ten children and tuberculosis testing showing twenty reactors out of seventy eight students.
