Hidalgo County Commissioners Visit Playas Road Project

Hidalgo County Commissioners held a special session at the Playas Road site led by Chairman Fausto Noce. Attendees included Commissioner Joe Burgess, County Assessor Olivia Ramirez, BLM reps, NM State Highway staff, Delta Engineering, A&S Construction, and Hidalgo County officials. Rhoades Services for Edward H. Rhoades in Las Cruces

Edward Henry Rhoades, 72, former Lordsburg resident now of Las Cruces, died June 26 at home. Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Chapel of The Crosses. Graveside service Friday at 10 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Garden. Survived by wife Alta, daughter Patricia Blume, son Don Edward Rhoades, mother Rosie Rhoades, sisters Emaline Baxter and Mary Gay, brother Robert Rhoades, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
