Sohio Plan A Feasibility Study For Alaska Oil Pipeline
A five man BLM committee in El Paso studied Standard Oil Sohio led Alaska oil delivery system to move crude from Valdez to Long Beach and Midland by 1977 with 788 miles of existing pipeline and 245 miles new. The plan centers at Long Beach El Paso with Lordsburg as a base and faces California gas opposition.
