Dr Zimmermann was inaugurated as president of the state university. New buildings valued at 190000 dollars were dedicated. Sixty five students graduated at a combined inaugural and commencement day. Ray Lyman Wilbur of Stanford addressed the graduates. Governors and visiting officials attended as new facilities were opened and plans for future growth were outlined.

Mrs Hill's Mother Passes Away In Shreveport
Mrs W P Hill received a wire from Shreveport La reporting the death of her mother Mrs Mary J Snell at age seventy seven. She was described as a respected pioneer. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon and the distance prevented Mrs Hill from attending.
