Ramon Somoza Dies in Tucson at 85 in 1993
Ramon Somoza born February 2, 1908 in Nogales Sonora moved to the United States at 20 married Angela Gomez on November 12 1938 and lived in Apache and Rodeo Arizona. He worked at Gus Kimble Phelps Dodge Smelter and Bill Kimble Ranch then helped build San Felipe Neri Church in Rodeo. He died May 27 1993 at University Medical Center Tucson. He is survived by Angela and multiple children grandchildren and great grandchildren. Rosary was May 28 in Douglas with Mass at San Felipe Catholic Mission and interment at Rodeo Cemetery.

Community of Rodeo Sets Fourth Of July Celebration
