Moslem Burial for Kamran Mahshid at Socorro Cemetery
A funeral procession of about 100 Moslem and non Moslem students and faculty from New Mexico Tech carried Kamran Mahshid of Teheran to a grave at Socorro Cemetery. Shukri led Arabic prayers as the body was oriented eastward and buried with a simple rite after permission from Mahshid's father.

Burial in Verdin Cemetery.
