Lordsburg City Council unanimously adopted a comprehensive zoning ordinance with five zones RA RB C I and A outlining residential commercial and industrial rules set to take full effect October 1 1982. The ordinance will be available for examination and residents may challenge zoned property until then. The Farmers Market begins Saturday July 31 at 8 am.

A Lordsburg High School reunion planning meeting is set for August 5 at 7 pm at the Civic Center. the reunion date is September 25 for classes of the 1920s 30s and 40s.

Equipment and medical supplies were stolen, with at least 750 dollars in losses reported. The case remains under investigation.
