Murder on the Rail: Turner Slain by Maniac on Train
Harry Turner a beloved railroad employee was shot dead by W. M. Sprague of Paris Missouri aboard a Texas-Pacific Railway coach between Lanark and Lordsburg. Turner and P. O. Cochran were killed. Sprague was shot by a pursuing posse led by Dona Ana County sheriff as he fled toward the field and later died.
