Grand Lodge Knights of Pythias laid the cornerstone of Castle Hall for Pyramid Lodge No. 23 in Lordsburg New Mexico with Acting Grand Architect Jack Heather and Grand Chancellor Joseph Pies presiding. The event featured singing by Knight Harry Hosenstein and performances by Grand Temple pianist Mrs Bethel Vernon Fuller. The lodge history noted July 4 1896 founding and June 30 1899 first cornerstone with a second story added in 1907.
