Lordsburg approves PD plan to fund new water tank
The Lordsburg council agreed to let PD Corp build a 2.5 million gallon water tank by April 25 1975 replacing a collapsed tank. PD will finance via a $70 million pollution control revenue bond and a $100 000 admin fee proposal was negotiated with city attorneys. The deal ends a planned $400 000 general obligation bond election.
