Kathleen S. Manes is named Librarian succeeding Marshelen Wells who retires after 13 years with the Lordsburg Hidalgo Library. Manes has spent about ten years with the library, began as a Library Aide in 1976 and served as Children's Librarian, earning a Librarian Certificate Grade I in May 1986. She moved from the east coast over eleven years ago and now lives with two daughters Heather Lynn and Dawn Andrea Rosa, and son-in-law Candido in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She enjoys reading, music, plants, dancing, hiking, camping, and meeting people of the Southwest.
