Animal man and juvenile arrested for marijuana possession
Hidalgo County Sheriff Gene Moore and Deputy Rudy Lara arrested a man and a juvenile on February 19 for possessing less than one ounce of marijuana. The adult paid a $60 fine in magistrate court and the juvenile was turned over to appropriate authorities. Sheriff Moore credited Animal School officials for their cooperation.

Lordsburg police investigated two automotive hardware thefts this week. A set of hub caps valued at 180 dollars were stolen and two sideview mirrors valued at 22 dollars were taken from a vehicle at Second and Animal Streets. Investigation continues.

Vehicle Registration Deadline Stated For 1976 Stickers
