John S. Glark returned Wednesday from El Paso where he was at his mother’s bedside. Mrs Man J. McCabe underwent an operation at Hotel Dieu last Thursday and is reported improving. Mr McCabe went to El Paso Wednesday to be with his wife.
Mrs and Mrs James Hogan and Br Patrick of Globe Arizona visited Mr and Mrs WM Williams and family. Mr Hogan employed in the postal service returned Monday but Mrs Hogan remained for a two week visit. Mrs Hogan and Mrs Williams are sisters.
Glen L. Ross vice-president of the First National Bank spoke at the Lions Club meeting discussing service charges cashing checks overdraft and loan features. The detailed address clarified banking intricacies for the audience as part of a series on important public affairs.

Hamon Galindo and his wife announced the birth of a one pound baby boy named George Sunday at the hospital. T Hollis of San Simon underwent a major operation Tuesday morning and is improving rapidly. Sebastian Molina had his tonsils removed Tuesday morning and left Wednesday morning.

Mrs Channey stayed for the new arrival. Maude Wyley tends the ranch and other children. Wallace Payte visited Hachita on Wednesday. The exact date is unclear as he moves frequently.
The mine commissary was robbed Tuesday night. Four horseback riders from Mexico are suspected and fled across the border with the loot. A pursuit was run but resulted in no apprehension. It remains unclear if the suspects were Mexican.

Attendees included Evans Luckie Gleason Ehrhardt Hoewell Tatach Short Crandall and out of town guest Mrs A teddus of Willcox Arizona. Refreshments concluded the afternoon.

Miss Pauline Rutter received a pleasant birthday surprise at Mrs. Ann Gould s home Tuesday evening. A fine spread was served and guests included Miss Logan, Miss Mamie Higgins, Miss Angie Moss, a guest of Mrs Gould s and Mrs. Mabel Hudson Base. A Mystery Box gift provided much merriment.
Mary Josephine DeMars entertained the Two by Four Club, a recently organized banco group, at her home Monday afternoon. Catherine Lovett won high score with Beth Ball taking consolation. attendees included Florence Cureton Nadine Causland Huth Fisher Teenayers Catherine Lovell Beth Ball and Huth Wallace. Refreshments were served.
Mrs J C HB Amos hosted a Wednesday bridge session at her Valedon home with no guests. Mrs W Downey won the high score for the afternoon as refreshments were served.
