Two local men, Clifford L Adams and John P Hiser, died in a plane crash about 35 miles northeast of El Paso on the McGregor Military Range. Funeral services for Percy Alexander, who died at Hidalgo General Hospital Tuesday evening after a heart attack, will be held Friday at 4 pm at Heather Chapel. The body will be shipped to Littlefield, Texas, for burial. He was a retired dispatcher and former acting chief of the Lordsburg Police Department.
