The L D S Lordsburg Ward begins a church unit project to produce paper hay for the local market. Romney Produce has purchased and installed equipment and will take the entire output for processing. Boy Scout troops will deliver portions of the product, as the plan proves workable.

Chs Motor Co Secures Jeep Dealership

Chs Motor Co owned by Mr and Mrs A Richards at 108 Railroad Avenue has acquired the Jeep dealership. Jeep models are now on display at Rich's Motor Co showrooms and the company will continue its current auto dealership operations.

County Treasurer Sets Open Saturdays for Car Licenses

Damon Dunagan announces the county treasurer’s office in the courthouse will be open on Saturday February 25 and March 4 to help owners purchase 1950 car licenses. License deadline is Thursday March 2, and driving without a 1950 license is a violation of the law.

Fifth Grade Pupils To Present PTA Program

Mrs. Wesley Freeburg will give a short talk on Founders Day at the PTA meeting tonight in the high school auditorium at 7.
