Editor Surprised With Surprise Party at Peak Home
Tuesday evening a surprise party for the editor was hosted at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Peak by the Sunbeam class of the Methodist Sunday School. Parlor games followed by a luncheon were led by Mrs. Peak and assistants. The room featured miniature Martha Washington statues and patriotic streamers. A wall display showed one of fifty remaining copies of the Declaration of Independence with original signers' signatures.
