R C Hughes of Roy Hughes Productions travels from El Paso to feature the Lordsburg rodeo in news reels seen by about eighteen million viewers per day. Hughes, famed for southwest coverage, has filmed major regional events and is shooting new features in El Paso with Adela Lambrano. He survived a 56 foot cliff stunt in a prior production. Lordsburg Bank Suit Won By Officers And Directors
Sam Foster and fellow officers and directors of Lordsburg State Bank won a key case in the 65th judicial district El Paso before Judge Caldwell. Security Bank & Trust Co. won an earlier suit to collect on a note signed by the officers and directors who argued they signed as officers not individuals. A cross suit claiming signing was under false pretenses was also resolved in favor of the bank with A A Lynch and Major R F Burges representing it.

The first Lordsburg Rodeo drew mammoth crowds Tuesday and Wednesday with calf roping, beifer roping, drone busting, and cow pony races.
