City Announces Gas Rate Increase Notice

Vehicles Recovered By Officers
Sheriff Billy Darnell reported this week that two stolen vehicles had been recovered by the department. A pickup belonging to Andy Smith of Lordsburg taken May 9, 1984 was found in Chihuahua, Mexico. The vehicle had been stripped. Noah Gonzales, presently incarcerated here will be charged with the theft. He is a Mexican National. The second vehicle was a government truck also located in the state of Chihuahua. The truck was stolen in Arizona in January of 1986 and Hidalgo County law officers were asked to help with the investigation because of their past experience of working with Mexican law officials. The vehicle will be returned to the United States. Mexican Nationals were also responsible for the theft. (Continued on Page 5) The Knights of Columbus will be distributing cheese Saturday, February 22 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Distributions will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Estrada Pleads Guilty To Practicing Law Without License
