Secretary of Agriculture Clif ford M. Hardin outlines 1971 set asides 20 percent for feed grain and upland cotton and 75 percent for wheat with tentative dates from December 1970. Services Held For Jack McGhee
Funeral services were held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Heather Chapel for Jack McGhee 56 of Lordsburg died Tuesday after a brief illness in a Silver City hospital. He was a freight agent for Whitfield Transportation and formerly with Leeway Motor Freight Texas Arizona Motor Freight. Survivors include wife Louise Fisher McGhee three daughters Jackie Miller Janet Mechem Jane Hall one son Jerry five grandchildren and five brothers. He was born June 9 1914 in Gladys Texas and lived in Lordsburg since 1939. He served as a chamber of commerce director and was honored as outstanding director in 1964. Pallbearers were tort Hautions Harry Galusha John A Johnson Fov Powell Leslie Harvell and Bille Kimbley. Burial followed at Mountain View Cemetery.
