Car Truck Crash Injures Two Men Near Town
Dr. Eugene V. Rose aged 51 of Roswell and Vivian Lester Watts 44 of Irving Texas were hospitalized with serious injuries after a Wednesday crash about 9 35 near town. Watts drove the eastbound truck while Rose drove the westbound car and the impact occurred in the eastbound lane. The truck and trailer laden with steel rolled onto its side about 150 feet from the wreck before clearing the roadway. Rose as on his way to Lordsburg to explore moving his dental practice. He remained in critical condition at Hidalgo General Hospital Thursday morning.
