The newly organized Tenna Club met Monday February 3 at Miss Mary Lou Brown's home. The following readings for the U S Weather Bureau show daily high and low temperatures from Friday February 7 to Thursday February 13. Highs ranged from 60 to 70 degrees while lows fell from 27 to 34 degrees, with notable cool nights on February 12 and 13.

New Play Off Method In Cage Tournaments Slated

District 4 will use an elimination tourney in Deming February 21 and 22 to decide the eight teams in the final event at Las Cruces February 28 and March 1. Top seven teams are Las Cruces Silver City Lordsburg Deming Virden Hatch Hurley. Remaining eight teams include Alamogordo Animas Anthony Cliff Hachita Hot Springs Monticello and Tularosa. Drawings set for February 15 in Deming and February 22 in Las Cruces.
