Art Exhibit at Central School Opens for Public Viewing
Children from many cities will display works in an exhibit from February 14 to 21 at Central School. The show features over 1000 paintings from 540 schools including new finger painting in addition to frescoes watercolors tempera chalk and crayon works. Jamie Gardner teaches art and will oversee the display open daily 9 am to 4 pm for students and the public. Georgia Chapman dies at 34 in Bisbee Arizona
Georgia Chapman daughter of Mr and Mrs William Cha was born May 17 1904 in Menard Texas and died February 1 1949 in Bisbee Arizona at age 34 years eight months fourteen days. She married Bardhn ardson January 6 1926 and six children survive. The family moved from Red Rock New Mexico to Bisbee in 1936 where Richardson worked for Phelps Dodge. Funeral services were by J J Bri minister and burial was in Mountain cemetery.
