Thursday evening about 4 30 Mr A J Edwards and Mr O BR McNeel arrived at the Lordsburg Airport in light rain. They are with Ryan Airways San Diego Cal surveying the Southwest and promoting the Ryan M 1 monoplane. It is the first monoplane at Lordsburg and drew praise from local flyers. They praised the field and airport hospitality. Prof Goodman of the Chamber of Commerce hosted dinner at the Manhattan Cafe and they plan to publish favorable impressions in their itinerary reports.

Buick saves lives in double auto accidents report
Dr DeMoss reports two more auto accidents. Mr and Mrs Will Offer of Kansas rolled their Buick sedan Tuesday with no injuries to him. Seven stitches on Mrs Offer’s face, minor repairs needed. Tuesday night Mrs G B Franklin, sister of Mrs Hale Chenowth, tipped over in her car and suffered a badly strained shoulder.

L Liddell Dies After Auto Crash Near Douglas
Louis L Liddell, visiting his sister Mrs Geo A Wood, died after a tire blew out nine miles from Douglas causing his car to overturn and pin him. He died three hours later at Lordsburg hospital. Funeral held at his sister's home with Rev W W Wilkerson officiating. burial at Mountainview Cemetery. He was longtime Copper Queen smelter employee and Moose member.

Buick Rolls Over Freeing Couple After Outing Near Lordsburg
Lee W. Forncrook of Flint Michigan and his bride Grace Thompson survived a rollover near Lordsburg when a blowout flipped their Buick coupe. Tourists freed Forncrook from the wrecked car through the wind shield while the bride, unfazed, took the wheel after an overnight rest and they continued toward Los Angeles praising New Mexico climate.

Franklin Girl Injured in Automobile Wreck
Asrene O'Dell the Franklin Arizona daughter of Mr and Mrs Garvin O'Dell and five friends were in a car that overturned on CABar hill two miles from York. Irene sustained a scalp wound fractures of jaws and several teeth knocked out. Dr F W Butler of Punean cared for her at DeMoss hospital. Blood poisoning has set in and recovery is uncertain though she is slightly better this morning.

Oklahoma Ladies Crash Buick Into Telephone Pole
Mis Donald Groth and Mrs Frank W Dale of Oklahoma City crashed sixteen miles over Lordsburg while riding a Southern Pacific train pace. Their Buick skidded left struck a telephone pole, the pole cut at ground level nine feet, car rolled twice but occupants escaped with slight injuries.
