The Bonney and Oeto mines show active prospecting and steady operation with new veins and development. A 500 hp steam plant is to be installed at No 4 shaft. The Miser’s Chest mine changed hands and shipped twelve cars of copper ore while expanding the shaft to 450 feet. Co operative Mining built a 50 ton flotation mill and shipped 190 tons of high grade ore and concentrates. Monte ERico opened silver lead veins. Great Eagle fluorspar mine produced up to 1500 tons by November, then moved to Michigan capitalists for a 200 ton mill to make acid grade product. Hanover Empire Zinc bought the Republic mine for 500000 cash in May and kept iron ore shipments steady to Colorado Fuel. Grant County Copper’s new mill produced zinc concentrates. Mogollon Mines operated full time with expanded mill output and reserves. strong management supported a steady workforce.
