Lordsburg City Council Minutes November 1 1978
City council convened in Lordsburg New Mexico for regular November meeting. Mayor Koff led roll call with five present and one absent and approved October minutes. Coors Employees Vote to Oust Union at Brewery
Adolph Coors Company production and maintenance workers in the Denver brewery voted 993 to 408 to remove Brewery Workers Local 366 AFL CIO as their bargaining agent. Of 1,486 eligible, 1,401 ballots were cast, 71 percent against the union. NLRB certification pending, could take weeks. Bill Coors cited rejection of the 20 month strike and boycott.
