Midnight Mass and Posadas Highlight Christmas in Santa Fe Church
In southern New Mexico Catholic tradition, the Posadas run nine nights ending December 24 with a Sunshine Nursing Home visit and church gathering. Midnight Mass on December 24 at 10 30 p.m. features Sylvia Trujillo presenting the baby Jesus, followed by a parish hall reception. Christmas Day Masses are at 9:00 a.m. in Spanish and 11:00 a.m. in English. Rev. Carmelo Arroyo and Rev. Narciso Rivera invite all to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
