Co op Telephone System Construction Moves Toward North Lordsburg

Irky Construction Co. will headquarter in the former Lordsburg Hospital building and start work soon after the new year. Ten members of the Lulae Council No. 356 visited the Kennecott Copper Corp Public Relations Office in Hurley on December 10 for a dinner and mill tour. They followed copper ore from primary crushing through goading, concentration, smelting, refining to final copper bars.
