Airport land yields Lordsburg 325000 verdict
A twelve juror panel decided December 7 that the city of Lordsburg should receive 325000 for airport land taken by the State Highway Department for road construction. Judge Norman Hodges oversaw the trial which began in December and extended to about 10 p.m. Morris, city attorney, called the outcome substantially satisfactory and said the funds are limited to airport facilities.

Mrs Rita Hill returns home to Shakespeare after 18 days in jail on a contempt charge. She signed a statement on December 10 promising to refrain from hindering the occupancy and control of Tract 41 near the I 10 ramp.
