A Liberal representative visited Animas High School Last week and praised the school for its faculty led by Wayne Hammer with Dorothy Skidmore as principal Bertram Saddler Bernice Jones and Bernice Ben Pugh teaching grades The school was commended for its response to the Will Rogers Memorial Fund Rodeo and Valley View also earned praise for artistic submission sheets sent by Valley View chairman Holt to National Headquarters as a model from children.

Huskeys Escape Minor Injuries After Underpass Collision
Mr and Mrs L C Huskey their son and granddaughter avoided major harm when their Buick sedan collided in an underpass with a Pontiac driven by Tom Allen. Allen was uninjured and the Pontiac was sent to Olay Motor for repairs. Buick repaired by Townsend Montague Motor. The Huskeys were traveling to Los Angeles from Mineral Wells Texas.
