Petition to form Hidalgo County irrigation district New Mexico
Petition filed by majority freeholders and landowners in Hidalgo County seeks board approval to organize an irrigation district on about 9000 acres watered by the Gila River with boundaries described in detail and a plan to present to qualified voters for final organization. A committee led by J F Payne Jr and G Lynn Hatch is named to present the petition to the Board of County Commissioners in Lordsburg with notices dated August 27 to September 3 1925.
