Oronco Awarded Contract In Lordsburg Rehab Plan
City council held a special session to review seven home rehab bids under a Lordsburg Housing Rehabilitation Program. Oronco Construction Company was the sole bidder and all seven bids were approved with a $10,000 limit per home. Chavez outlined future home owner specs and HUD compliant guidelines to speed approvals. The council also backed a UDHE grant proposal of about 300000 for San Andres Corporation to enlarge vanyards and build a winery.
