City Approves 100000 Gallon Stabilization Tank Plan
Albuquerque officials authorize engineering for a 100000 gallon stabilization tank to equalize water pressure. Eidson Metal Products would build the tank for 26000, funding includes 25000 grant and 15000 loan from the State Department of Finance. The Hidalgo County Fair will run September 6 and 7 at Lordsburg fair grounds with entries received starting 2 p.m. September 5. Also September 5 the Old Timers Association hosts a get-together at the American Motor Inn. On September 6 livestock judging runs 8:30 to 12:30, the Old Timers parade starts at 10 a.m., and exhibits open at noon.
