Murder Charges Filed Against Pair in Lordsburg Shooting
First degree murder charges were filed against Arch ie L. Eaves and Mary L. Chojnicki both of Lordsburg in the shooting death of Elmer Leon Whipple 42. Whipple died from a 38 caliber gunshot wound and investigators say both suspects appeared intoxicated at the scene. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Friday August 16 with both held without bail. Whipple survived by his wife Dorothy Mae and five children.
