Hidalgo County Senior Citizens Health Fair Tuesday

The Hidalgo County Senior Citizens Health Fair is scheduled for Tuesday at the James Baxter Civic Center from 10 00 a m to 4 00 p m. The Health Fair is open to all Hidalgo County Seniors 50 years and over with free screening in hearing vision glaucoma dental diabetes and blood pressure. There will also be displays set up by local organizations and clubs.

Kimberly Lamb, a 19 year old cancer patient undergoing radiation at University Hospital Tucson, will be honored at a benefit dinner and auction hosted by Valley View Community Church at Animal Community Center on Friday May 5 at 5 30 p m. CALL Steering Committee Meeting Toward Landfill Hearing

CALL Steering Committee met on Tuesday April 24 and extended an invitation to Governor Garvey Carruthers to visit Lordsburg to hear public sentiment on the Hidalgo County landfill.
