Water Quality Discussed By RC&D In Glenwood Meeting
State Law 92-500 governing water quality will be presented at the Glenwood Community Center at 1 p.m. on Thursday April 29 by Tom Keyes of the New Mexico Water Quality Commission and Chuck Youberg of the Soil Conservation Service. The SWNM RC&D will elect officers for Catron, Grant, Hidalgo and Luna counties and review Section 208 nonpoint pollution rules. Other council and committee meetings with various chairs will run from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. locations include Blue Front Lounge Los Olmos Fire Station and Presbyterian Church. Public participation urged to aid conservation and development of southwest New Mexico resources.
