1913 Liberty Head Nickel in Lordsburg Post Office Safe
Pat Carley a clerk at Lordsburg post office owns one of five 1913 Liberty Head nickels. He has held the coin about a year and estimates its value at 1000 to 1500 dollars. He may offer it for sale to a reputable coin dealer or collector soon. The five coins were minted in 1913 due to a mintage error and now command high value from scarcity.

The gymnasium hosts a new volleyball league organized with six men's teams and five women's squads.
