Gilpin Fitting New Motor In Airship Flight Plans
Aviator W. Gilpin has a ship at the airdome this week receiving a 150 HP Hispano Suiza engine used by Commander Pinedo in a four continent flight. The engine, now at Roosevelt Lake Arizona, will be installed and tested before Sunday. Gilpin plans to carry four auto race fans to Douglas.

N and T Club Meets Hosts and Hears Snake Tale
The N and T Club met at Mrs. G W Trimble’s home then traveled to Granite Gap where refreshments were served. A large rattlesnake was found at the scene, fought briefly, was dispatched and beheaded. The snake, 43 inches long with eleven rattles, was brought to town for display on a doctor’s desk.
