Frank C Gabriel born December 4 1904 in Champaign Illinois died April 10 1984 in Lordsburg age 79 married Marian E Wascher July 9 1927 with three children Robert 1929 Mary 1930 James 1943. He led multiple hospitals including Southwest Presbyterian Albuquerque Eastern New Mexico Medical Center Roswell Hidalgo General Lordsburg and helped form Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Mexico. He served as first president of the New Mexico Hospital Association and held other leadership roles. Funeral services were held April 12 1984 in Lordsburg with Masonic rites and burial at Sunset Memorial Park Albuquerque April 14.

Woodcutting To Resume First Of May In Mimbres District
Mimbres District Ranger Ron Bradsby announced that firewood cutting will reopen May 1. Firewood rises to five dollars per cord with a $10 minimum for two cards, and cutters must complete the removal record on their permit copy.
