Pioneer Rancher Passes Away In Arizona Region
Pioneer rancher Harry Alfred Day died Tuesday April 10 in Southeastern Arizona and Western New Mexico. Born December 11, 1898 in Duncan, he worked in ranching since 1920. Survived by wife Ada May. daughters Sandra O'Connor of Washington DC and Ann Alexander of Tucson. son Allan Day of Duncan. sister Alice Mason. eight grandchildren. Memorial services set for Friday April 13 at 2:00 p.m. at Lazy B Ranch headquarters.

Lola Casner Jones, 92, died April 3 1984 in Las Cruces. Born January 2 1892 in Llano County Texas, she lived in Lordsburg 63 years and Hatch 642 years. She owned a flower shop, worked with the Lordsburg Chamber of Commerce and Baptist Church, and graduated from San Marcos Baptist Academy. Survived by son Von B Jones and daughter-in-law Vivian Jones of Lordsburg, daughter Alice J Wayne of Hatch, two grandchildren George C Wayne El Paso and Susan Wayne Faulkenberry Dallas, four great grandchildren Chad Geoffrey Wayne El Paso and Allyson Ashley Faulkenberry Dallas. Funeral was April 6 1984 at Heather Chapel Lordsburg, burial Mt View Cemetery. Pallbearers listed: Charles Williams Bryant Winslow Ted White Bill Fisher Fred Ewing Joe Rouse.
