Elks and Lions Plan Benefits for Hospital Fund
The Elks host a dance at the new Municipal airport building to raise funds for the Hospital Equipment Fund. In a special school election, Lordsburg voters cast 244 yes and 113 no to save 125000 for school buildings. The Municipal Board of Education then contracted on April 11 with Frank Tatsch of Silver City to erect a complete new high school building of class A, fireproof design.
