Hidalgo County Commissioners Extend Contracts and Approve Budgets
Hidalgo County Commissioners met Tuesday and extended Dr. O Connel's contract under prior terms, signed the Aerostate contract, and approved a three year extension for the Bar VS landfill deal. They adopted the Solid Waste Ordinance and Solid Waste Resolution, signed the Justice Grant Resolution, and agreed to bid on body armor if funded. The Lordsburg Optimist Club hosts Landsail Races at the dry lake bed west of Lordsburg near the Gary overpass exit. Six courses, prizes for top three and best design, and $20 entry per landsailer. State To Begin Work On Playas Road May 7
