Scouts Move Southwest for Deming Scout Camp Prep

Demoss Hospital Care for Pneumonia Patient and Hand Injury

Neely Marsalis is in the DeMoss Hospital with pneumonia. Mrs. Fannie Poindexter suffered a severe injury to her right hand Monday when caught in a wringer and badly crushed. She was treated at DeMoss Hospital and returned home the next day. doctors expect no permanent damage.

High Flying Honors for Billie Poindexter

Lordsburg Mohair Pool Sells 60,000 Pounds Last Week

The Lordsburg mohair pool sold about 60,000 pounds last week at 49 1 2 cents for grown hair and 66 cents for kid hair. The pool, started a year ago, has saved growers thousands of dollars and accepts any grower regardless of banking. Proceeds go to each grower’s own bank. Sales to date include several towns and buyers such as Dupee & Sawyer Company of Boston.
