The sermon for the graduating class will be preached by Rev. F. M. Dowling at the Christian church in San Dimas on June 10. The graduation exercises occur June 12 and 14 in the high school auditorium with music by the orchestra and girls glee club. Alumni may attend without invitation. public seats are partly reserved for families. The Alumni banquet June 15 is canceled to donate funds to the Red Cross.

Francis Marion Lemmon Celebrates 84th Birthday
Francis Marion Lemmon marked his 84th birthday this week. He is one of two surviving sons of revolutionary soldiers, with the other being Mr. Phillips of Downey. Lemmon was in good health until about three months ago when he contracted la grippe and has remained poorly since.
