Senate Currency Bills Out of Committee in the Senate

Knights of Pythian District Meeting at Belmar

Happily Married Lester Havens and Miss Digman

Miss Josephine Digman of Boston and Lester Havens son of William H Havens of Deal were married Tuesday night at St Michael's Church New York. The bride wore white satin and old lace with orange blossom and carried white roses and lilies of the valley. Attendant was her sister Mixes Anne Digman in pink satin. Best man was James Egan of New York. Afterward the couple went to Churchill's for a reception and will honeymoon then stay in Deal for weeks.

Drops Dead While Twang to Friend in New Jersey

George Herbert of Bradley Beach collapsed while talking to a friend in Wanamassa yesterday. He showed heart pain en route from Asbury Park, had indigestion beforehand, and died before medical help arrived. Coroner Morris issued a burial permit after the incident.

Aligor Seeks Permit to Carry Revolver in Rumson

James M. Aligor of Sea Bright sought a permit to carry a revolver after alleging threats and assaults by a Rumson officer and a local clergyman. He presented an affidavit to Sea Bright officials. the mayor advised filing with the mayor in person and offered no approval.

Dr J Dun can Speath delivered the fourth talk in a Long Branch Teachers Association series at the Intermed i al Auditorium with the title Luther the Protestant deal. Judge Jacob Steinbach Jr and a jury spent yesterday hearing the merits of a damages case involving Emma Godwin and the Atlantic Coast Electric Railway Co. Godwin, a laundress, testified she was thrown from a trolley when it started as she alighted at Belmont and Second avenues on Sept 8. The trial continued, with witnesses and lawyers for both sides.

Engine 252 pulling a work train suffered a severe mishap at 4 45 Thursday afternoon near Sea Bright. Carpenter Hurt In Scaffold Fall At Sea Bright

Two carpenters William Sturgeon and William Tallman worked on a scaffold fifteen feet high at the Mason cottage in Sea Bright yesterday afternoon. The scaffold broke, Tallman escaped injury while Sturgeon fractured his left wrist and was rushed to Monmouth Memorial Hospital by bulkhead builder J Addison Howland, the cottage owner.
