Monmouth County Voting Totals Show Fielder Lead and Propositions

In Monmouth County the total vote across Governor and local measures shows Governor Fielder with a clear majority over six opponents, and a 111 vote defeat for the Jury Reform bill. The Branch Court proposition lost by a large margin, with 7,186 against and 3,751 for. Assembly and Freeholders tallies are partial pending two towns. The County Board convenes Monday to canvass.

Fine program for children's party at Library Hall

Three local fire companies held important meetings last night with speeches from Chief Kingsland and Assistant Chief Reed about department improvements. Candidates Lou is Hubn and James Ennis Jr spoke on their bids for second assistant chief. A. E. B. Morris was chosen as vice president. Officers and Firemen Relief representatives were elected as the social gathering followed.

Railroads See Higher Valuation With Lower State Tax Total

Trenton November 7 The 1919 statewide assessment lists 331 477 001 for railroad and canal properties across 23 companies. Total state and local tax reaches 6 577 874 09 with a net valuation rise of 3 892 040 though three systems show valuation drops Philadelphia and Reading Lackawanna and New York Susquehanna and Western lose value while the average state tax rate stands at 19 79 per hundred versus 16 1 last year.

Missing New York Woman Sought in Las Branch

Mrs. Alice Wilapatrick Fitzpatrick of 220 West 98th Street New York is missing and suffering melancholia. She has attempted suicide multiple times and her husband has had to place her in sanitariums. Cat Saves Family as Fire Destroys Slocum Place Home

A family of nine woke to a blaze on a second floor caused by a candle. Their cat aroused Mrs Lissak and eight children, allowing a quick escape before neighbors and fire crews arrived.
